Definition In this policy,
Affiliates: directly or indirectly controlled by Sensaric; or direct or indirect control of the Sensaric; or jointly control the same company with Sensaric; or companies that are directly or indirectly controlled by the same company as Sensaric, including but not limited to parent companies, subsidiaries; Subsidiaries controlled by the same parent company as Sensaric, etc.
Personal Information: Information recorded electronically or otherwise that can be used alone or in combination with other information that can identify an individual or reflect the activities of a specific individual. Sensitive personal information: including personal biometric information, transaction information, rough location information, etc. When we provide you with specific products or services, when it involves the collection of sensitive personal information, we will obtain your consent through a conspicuous and clear notice before collecting sensitive personal information about you. Application: refers to the mobile application (including mobile client, Wall mounted Controller) developed by Sensaric.
De-identification: refers to the process of technical processing of personal information so that it cannot be identified or associated with the subject of personal information without the help of additional information. Anonymization: refers to the process in which the subject of personal information cannot be identified or associated through the technical processing of personal information, and the processed information cannot be restored. The information obtained after anonymization of personal information is not personal information.
SDK: Also known as software development kit, the industry generally refers to a collection of development tools such as specific software packages, software frameworks, hardware platforms, operating systems, etc. when building application software. Smart IoT hardware devices: In this article, also referred to as “smart devices” or “hardware devices”, it refers to the intelligent hardware products that you bind and manage through “Home Sense” business applications, mainly including Internet cameras, Video door bells/phones, smart door locks, smart home gateways, etc.
Permissions: In this article, also known as “application permissions”, it refers to the system functions that your client terminal devices open to Home Sense business applications, mainly including albums, microphones, Bluetooth, and locations.
- How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information
1.1 Providing products and/or services and corresponding business functions
In order to provide you with our services, we will ask you to provide personal information necessary for such services. If you do not provide personal information, we cannot provide you with the corresponding products or services.1.1.1. Account registration, login and verification:
When you register for an account with us, we collect your account name and contact details, including your email address, phone number, username, and login credentials. During your interaction with our products, we will further collect nickname, country code, time zone information in your account. In doing so, we collect and process your personal information as follows:
A. Scope of use of personal information:
(1) When you register or log in to your Home Sense account, we will collect your mobile phone number, password and verification code; This information is necessary to help you complete the registration and/or login of your personal identity account, protect the security of your account, and meet the requirements of the online real-name system of relevant laws and regulations; If you refuse to provide it, you will not be able to successfully register and/or log in.
(2) When you reset your account password, we will collect your SMS and/or email verification code information. This is the necessary information for the password change function, if you refuse to provide it, you will not be able to change the password successfully, but it will not affect your use of the registration or login function (if your password before the change is still valid).
(3) After your registration is completed, you can choose to fill in the account information according to your own needs, including nickname and avatar, in order to identify and manage your account. Such information is non-essential information for registration, login and verification functions, and if you refuse to provide such information, it will reduce the security protection of your account, but will not affect your use of registration or login functions.

C. Use third-party SDKs
Not covered under this function.1.1.2 Smart devices:
To provide Home Sense services so that you can securely connect and manage smart devices, we may collect your login account information, mobile phone related information, IP address, smart device related information. This information is used to provide you with smart device quick connection, connection, discovery of nearby devices, and device management capabilities.
A. Scope of use of personal information:
(1) Connect smart devicesSmart devices connected via Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi information (SSID, BSSID, Wi-Fi Mac address, Wi-Fi password), device MAC address, device ID.

Smart devices connected via Zigbee: device Mac address, device ID.(2) Quick control function
In order to provide you with a fast and convenient smart device control experience, you can quickly implement the function of smart device control and smart device status query. We collect the following information:
Device networking status: for you to view the device connection status, and display different operation interfaces according to the networking status;
Device status information: to enable you to view the status of the device and implement device control;
If you are connected to the Home Sense platform, temperature and humidity, body sensors, etc., we also need to collect:
Information about the surrounding environment of the device: so that you can accurately view the relevant information about the surrounding environment detected by the device sensor, such as temperature, humidity, and whether people pass by;
If you have connected a camera via the Home Sense platform, we will need to collect on the Display screen side:
Live View Information: Shows you the live view captured by the camera.(3) Smart device firmware upgrade
In order for you to continue to enjoy the latest Home Sense services, we may collect the list of connected smart devices and version number information to provide you with the upgrade function of smart devices to ensure that you can use the latest version of the service (including firmware version).
(4) Security equipment preview, record video
If you connect a video door bell/phone and/or a camera device with a camera through the Home Sense platform, when you use the surveillance video preview and playback function, we will collect the current video screenshot of your surveillance device for you to show you to facilitate you to identify the monitoring location, and the screenshot is stored locally on your mobile phone. You can refuse our collection by revoking your storage rights. If you refuse to provide it, you will not be able to view the aforementioned screenshots on the homepage of the surveillance video, but it will not affect your use of the preview, playback, and playback functions. To keep your home safe, after you add the device, if the device recognizes that someone is moving, the device will automatically record the video and store it on a local SD card for you to view the playback only. Rest assured that your video data will not be used for any other purpose. You can control the switch to record video in “Settings-SD Card Recording Settings” in the device.
(5) Hardware device voice intercom function
When you use the voice intercom function under smart hardware devices including doorbells and cameras, we will ask you to turn on the microphone permission, and collect the serial number, current network status, internal IP of the device, external IP of the device, and the client type, client version number, operating system version, and operating system type of your client terminal device in order to achieve the purpose of this function for you. You can refuse our collection by turning off the microphone permission through the system settings, which will prevent you from using this feature, but will not affect your use of other features of the hardware device or Smart Sense application.
(6) Video screenshot of the monitoring device as event message content
When you enable the event message reminder and notification function of the monitoring device, we will collect the video screenshot taken by your smart IoT hardware device (monitoring device) (whether there is a video screenshot depends on the performance of your hardware device), so as to push the screenshot to you as the content of the hardware device event message. This function is an optional function, you can prevent us from sending you push message notifications by denying the notification permission, or you can refuse this function by turning off the [Alarm Settings] setting button of your client terminal device. This will prevent you from using this feature, but it will not affect your use of other features of the hardware device or the Smart Sense app.

These SDKs automatically collects device information, device model, operating system, device hardware serial number (refers to a string of strings programmed into the device by the device manufacturer as a unique identifier of the device). Android ID, login IP address, wireless connection information, operating system type and version, application version number, push notification identifier, log files and mobile network information; are personal information necessary to perform their functions.1.1.3 Message push function:
In order to facilitate you to keep abreast of the use of your Sensaric products and services, we will provide you with a push message notification, which is included under the Home Sense APP:
(1)Event messages for your smart IoT hardware devices, including “someone present” under the monitoring device; This type of message is pushed when the event is triggered, and the frequency is determined by your hardware installation environment and event type.
(2)Family messages, including that you invite invitees to join your family; You are invited to join someone else’s household, and the message is initiated by you or someone else, and the frequency is not fixed.A. Scope of use of personal information:
When you use the push function of Home Sense APP, we will push the above notification message to you as follows:
(1) In-app message push: that is, the above message will be prompted to you in the form of a message notification banner. No information is collected in this way.
(2) Mobile desktop push: that is, push the above message to your mobile phone desktop. This function is realized through a third-party SDK, and the third-party SDK directly collects and uses your corresponding personal information; The third-party SDK and personal information involved are detailed in the “C. Use of Third-Party SDK” section below. If you do not agree to be collected and used this information, you will not be able to use the desktop push function normally. If you do not need to use this function, you can turn off, manage and control the push of this part of the information through your mobile phone operating system “Settings – Notifications”. Turning off this feature will not affect your use of other Home Sense services.B. Sensitive permission calls

Not covered under this function.1.2 Provide security and operation and maintenance services
In order for you to enjoy Home Sense, our personal information may be collected and used in the following additional features. If you do not provide this personal information, you can still use Home Sense’s basic services, but you may not be able to use these additional functions that can bring you convenience.
A. Scope of use of personal information:
(1) Client terminal device information According to the specific permissions granted by you during the installation and use of the software, we will receive and record the client terminal device information you use to install and use the Home Sense software, including the client type, client version number, device model, operating system version number, operating system language, installed application package name, and running process. Please understand that this information is to provide services and ensure the normal operation of the product.(2) Intelligent IoT hardware device information: After your smart hardware device is bound, we will automatically receive and record the information of the relevant smart hardware device, including type, model, firmware number, MAC address, system version number and system settings. We rely on this information to provide you with services and ensure the safe operation of hardware devices, if you refuse to provide them, we will not be able to provide you with services related to the control and management of intelligent hardware devices, but it will not affect your use of other functions under the Home Sense application. Please note that when the system is set to allow automatic upgrade of hardware devices (this setting is enabled by default under some hardware devices), we will automatically install and run the upgrade package for you when there is a package to ensure that your smart hardware device and the Home Sense software you are using are always effectively adapted.
(3) Log information: When you use our services, we will automatically collect (including collection in the background running state) your detailed use of our services, save as relevant web logs, and we record the basic information of your client terminal device (client type, client version number, device model, operating system version number, operating system language). We rely on this information to provide you with services and to ensure the secure operation of your client terminal devices. Please note that the separate client terminal device information and log information are information that cannot identify a specific natural person. If it is necessary to combine such non-personal information with other information to identify a specific natural person, or combine it with personal information, such non-personal information will be regarded as personal information during the period of combined use, and we will anonymize and de-identify such personal information unless authorized by you or otherwise provided by laws and regulations.

Third Party SKDs are used for collecting information of your client terminal device [Android] (mobile phone model, mobile phone brand, Android system version, Android system API level, vendor system version, CPU architecture type, whether the device is rooted, disk space occupancy, sdcard space occupancy, Memory space footprint, network type, application currently running process name (running list/running process/task list) and PID), [iOS] (device model, operating system version, OS build number, wifi status, CPU properties, memory remaining space, disk space/disk remaining space, runtime phone status (memory occupied by processes, virtual memory), IDFV, whether jailbroken, region code)]; and personal information that is necessary to realize its function. -
Change of the purpose of collecting and using personal information
Please understand that SENSARIC’s products and /or services may be adjusted and changed as our business develops. In principle, when a new function or service is related to the function or service we currently provide, the personal information collected and used will be deemed to be directly or reasonably related to the original processing purpose. In scenarios that are not directly or reasonably related to the original processing purpose, we will collect and use your personal information, and will inform you again in accordance with the requirements of laws, regulations and national standards through page prompts, interactive processes, and agreement confirmation, and obtain your consent.

How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies
SENSARIC and third-party service providers use technologies such as cookies, tags and scripts to analyze trends, administer the website, track users’ website activity and gather statistical information about the entire user base. We receive individual or aggregated analysis reports collected through the above technologies. These technologies help us better understand your behavior, enable us to understand which parts of our website users visit, measure the effectiveness of advertising and web searches, and improve them. We treat information collected through cookies and other technologies as non-personal information. However, if an Internet Protocol (IP) address or similar identifier is considered personal information by local law, we also treat such identifier as personal information.
Log files: Like most websites, we collect certain information and store it in log files. Such information may include Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data. We do not associate automatically collected log data with other information we collect.
Advertising: We work with third-party service providers to display advertising on our websites or to manage our advertising on other websites. Our third-party service providers may use technologies such as cookies to collect information about your activities on their websites or other websites to provide you with advertising based on your browsing activities and interests. We will obtain your explicit consent in advance before providing you with advertising services.
Mobile analytics: In some mobile apps, we use mobile analytics software to better understand how our mobile software functions in your phone. The software may record information such as how often you use the application, events that occur within the application, cumulative usage, performance data, and where the application crash occurred. We do not link information stored in analytics software to any personal information you submit in your mobile applications.
Local Storage – HTML5/Flash: We use Local Storage Objects (LSOs), such as HTML5 or Flash, to store content and preferences. Depending on your web browsing behavior, third parties with whom we partner to provide certain features or serve advertisements on the Site also collect and store information through HTML5 or Flash cookies. The various browsers provide their own management tools to delete HTML5 local storage objects. -
How we entrust the processing, sharing, transfer, and public disclosure of your personal information
4.1 Entrustment of processing
We will entrust authorized partners to process your personal information as needed, so that authorized partners can provide you with some services or implement specific functions on our behalf within the scope of our authorization. We will entrust the processing of your information for the legal, legitimate, necessary, specific and clear purposes stated in this policy, and at the same time, we will clarify the purpose, period, processing method and type of personal information entrusted to the processing in the form of a written agreement, and agree on strict data protection measures with authorized partners, so that they can process personal information in accordance with this policy and written agreements, and supervise the personal information processing activities of authorized partners. Currently, our authorized partners include the following types:
(1) Suppliers that provide business operation support for SDMC, including warehousing and logistics providers, outsourcing customer service, installers, authorized maintenance providers, and service providers that provide payment convenience. We need to share your order information or product information or contact information with these suppliers in order to provide you with the corresponding services;
(2) Partners who assist us in providing you with some value-added or additional services, we will entrust the partner to process the necessary personal information according to the specific services you choose.4.2 Sharing
We promise to share your personal information with third parties only for the legal, legitimate, necessary, specific and clear purposes described in this policy, and will only share personal information necessary to achieve the relevant purposes. Please note that the shared party usually has its own separate privacy policy or relevant statement, and we recommend that you carefully review it before making the relevant authorization and make the choice you deem appropriate.
Unless otherwise stated, SENSARIC will not share your personal information with these third parties. We will conduct a formal review of the content and security of third-party links to which our products or services can be linked, and we recommend that you carefully determine the security risks before making a jump choice.4.3 Assignment
With the development of our business, if we and our affiliates conduct a merger, acquisition, reorganization, asset transfer or similar transaction involving the transfer of personal information, we will require the company or organization subject to your personal information to continue to be bound by this Privacy Policy, otherwise, we will require the company or organization to re-seek your authorization and consent. 5. In order to protect your or other individuals’ life, property and other major legitimate rights and interests, but it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person;
6. You disclose personal information to the public on your own;
7. Collecting personal information from legally publicly disclosed information, such as lawful news reports, government information disclosure and other channels. -
How we protect and store your personal information
5.1 Our technical and security measures to protect your personal information
We use security measures that comply with legal requirements and industry standards to prevent users’ personal information from being illegally accessed, copied, modified, transmitted, lost, destroyed, processed or used. Our network services adopt the encryption technology of transmission security protocol, and provide browsing services through a variety of methods, including HTTPS, to ensure the security of user data during transmission; Encrypt and store sensitive personal information (including biometric information) by adopting security measures related to encryption technology, permission control, and de-identification/anonymization, and isolate it through isolation technology;
When displaying personal information, we will use a variety of data masking technologies, including encryption masking, to enhance the security of personal information in use; In the context of technology development or internal market analysis, we only use de-labeled information for statistical analysis. SENSARIC operates globally, so personal information we collect under this Policy may be transferred, stored, and processed between different countries. The applicable laws and regulations of the country or region where we operate may differ from the applicable laws of the country in which you live, but we will strictly comply with the laws, regulations and requirements related to the protection of personal information. Therefore, within the framework of personal information protection, in order to facilitate our operations, we may transfer personal information to the countries or regions where we do business.
No matter where your information is stored, our privacy and security practices are designed to provide global protection for your personal information. This includes that the European Commission has identified mechanisms in place to adequately protect personal information in certain countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom or Switzerland. When personal information of users in the European Economic Area, Switzerland or the United Kingdom is transferred to a recipient located outside the European Economic Area, Switzerland or the United Kingdom that is not considered to have an adequate level of data protection, we ensure that the transfer is carried out in accordance with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We will process your personal information for the shortest period of time to achieve the purposes described in this policy or as required by laws and regulations, unless it is necessary to retain it for a longer period of time in accordance with specific legal requirements. We will determine the appropriate retention period based on the volume, nature and sensitivity of the personal information, and after the expiration of the retention period, we will destroy your personal information.
